It was a proud day on Monday for three doctors who all grew up in Boyle.
Derek Cawley (Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery), Kate Harrington (Radiodiagnosis) and Patrick Nicholson (Radiodiagnosis) graduated with Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Derek is son of John and Marie Hanmore Cawley from Drum, Kate is daughter of Brenda and the late Vincent Harrington who lived in the Warren while Patrick is son of Pat and Mary Nicholson from Sheegora.
