Seven members of the Curlieu Wheelers cycling club cycled the Ballagahderreen By Pass on Sunday morning.
The 13.6k road is due to open to traffic on Tuesday.
The riders cycled from Boyle to Tibhoine and headed to Carracastle on the closed road.
Heading back to Boyle via Monasteraden it was a 6ok enjoyable and memorable spin.
