Truck crashes into house at Grangemore outside Boyle

A major incident was declared outside Boyle on Wednesday morning following a road traffic collision involving a truck that crashed into a domestic residence.
The incident took place in the Grangemore area on the Boyle to Frenchpark road.
The driver of the truck was removed from the scene by ambulance and take to Sligo Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
There was one person in the house at the time who was not injured but was treated for shock.
There has been serious structural damage caused to the house.
A number of fire appliances, ambulances and Gardai attended the scene.
In a statement issued to Boyletoday.com earler on Wednesday morning, the Garda Press Office said: “Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic incident at Grange More, Boyle, Co Roscommon this morning, 4th June, 2025. As this incident is ongoing, no further information is available at this time”.
