Celebrating Creativity and Brain Health in Boyle

Roscommon Dementia Alliance with the support of the Older Peoples Council Roscommon warmly invites you to a special Creative Brain Health Event that will be held in King House, Military Road, Boyle on Wednesday, October 15th from 10:00am – 1:30pm.
Celebrating Creativity and Brain Health, this event will showcase how creativity supports brain health and cognitive function in all of us.
Guest Speakers & Performances:
• Helen Rochford Brennan – Global Dementia Advocate for the Rights of People Living with Dementia.
• Marianne Fallon – Chartered Psychologist Ps.S.I & Eco Therapist – Brain Health and Creativity.
• Dr Gerry O’Mara – Consultant Geriatrician – Insights on Frailty.
• Mike Hanrahan (Stockton’s Wing) – Writer/Musician – Creative Arts in Dementia.
• Edwina Guckian – Dancer/Choreographer – Performance.
On the Day:
• Registration & welcome tea/coffee from 10:00am.
• Visual arts displays, entertainment and sing along.
• A light early lunch will be provided.
