Our Wynne’s Bar sponsored men’s first team returned to winning ways with a 2-1 triumph over Moore United on Saturday night.Luke Glennon gave Celtic the lead on 24 minutes, of which they held until half-time. Moore equalised from the penalty spot in the 81st minute before Callum Andrews popped up with the winner two minutes from the end to secure all three points. Team: C. Cooke; L. McGrath, J. Our Downes Construction sponsored women’s team came away with a superb point from a visit to Shiven Rovers on Saturday night.Celtic took the lead on 69 minutes with Annie O’Connor finding the back of the net. In what was a tough battle throughout, Shiven only breached the Boyle Celtic defence once with the equaliser four minutes from time.
Our Roberto’s/ Greenrock sponsored men’s reserves team were defeated by Dysart FC.
Our under 12 boys’ Connacht Cup team were knocked out of the competition on Saturday by Oughterard in the round of 16. It was a great journey and experience for all involved.
Well done to our under 11 Boys who played Real Tubber in 3 very competitive games on Sunday afternoon. The lads played some fantastic football with teamwork work rate to the fore.
Darts fundraising event
Plans are well underway for the Boyle Celtic Darts Night, which takes place on March 28th in aid of the Boyle Celtic Community Hub.Facebook and Instagram pages have been set up to promote the event with more details to follow.

Best of luck to our former youths and men’s first team player James Bolger and his Drogheda United teammates in this season’s League of Ireland Premier Division. The Drogs began their campaign with a 1-0 win over Galway United last Friday.
Everyone at Boyle Celtic is also incredibly proud to see our under 15 player Freya Fitzpatrick take the next big step by signing for the Sligo Rovers under 17 team. A fantastic achievement and a testament to Freya’s hard work, talent, and dedication. We can’t wait to follow your journey—best of luck at The Showgrounds!
