Last Friday’s winner of the Boyle Celtic 50/50 draw was John Slattery, who won €1620. Congratulations John, and happy spending! Tickets are on sale now for next Friday’s draw from all the usual outlets and online.

Results

Our 12 boys were defeated by Gurteen Celtic.

Our 12 boys defeated Melvin Rovers. Goals came from Jamie McQuillan, Harry O’Grady, Tadhg McDermott (2 each) and Dylan Cryan.

Our under 13 girls overcame St. John’s with Mia Kilroy, Emma McGowan and Caoimhe McLoughlin on the scoresheet.

Our under 14 boys had a super win at home vs Carrick Town on Saturday evening in grim conditions. Goals came from Alex Mee (3), Ben Keaveny, Ronan Moore and Seán Leaver.

Jakub Dziewit netted twice in our under 16 boys draw with Valley Rovers.

Both our Wynne’s Bar sponsored men’s first team and Roberto’s/ Greenrock sponsored men’s reserves cup games fell victim to the weather.

Darts Fundraising Event

Plans are well underway for the Boyle Celtic Darts Night, which takes place on March 28th in aid of the Boyle Celtic Community Hub. Facebook and Instagram pages have been set up to promote the event with more details to follow.

FAI Junior Cup Draw

Our Wynne’s Bar sponsored men’s first team have been drawn to face Sligo-Leitrim side Cartron United F.C at home in Round 2 of the FAI Junior Cup. The tie will be played on the week ending March 29th.

Congratulations

Congrats are extended to Boyle Celtic men’s first team player Dean Casey and his St Nathy’s College teammates on their success in the Connacht Post-Primary Schools ‘B’ Championship Final. Dean scored four points in the final. They now progress to the All-Ireland semi-finals.
