Preparations are continuing for next Tuesday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Boyle.
The parade will commence at 3.30pm from Carty’s Gala in Mockmoyne.
The reviewing stand will be located on the Crescent where DJ Stan will play before, during and after the parade with face painting also available.
When the parade concludes there are two music events taking place:
Music Generation will hold a concert from 5pm-6.30pm in Dalys Storehouse featuring local children showcasing their music talents. Please come out to support all the fantastic young musicians and singers, and enjoy a free, entertaining family concert, while on the reviewing stand Local Band Spiral will host a music session.
There is still time to enter a float for the Parade. With RTE scheduled to cover the parade, a float is an ideal opportunity to showcase your club/organisation/business.
There is fantastic prize money on offer this year. Taking part in the parade is a great way to:

Safety Notice for the Parents and Guardians of children who are partaking in the Parade – Can you please use the car parks in town and walk children up to the starting point at Cartys. This is to ease traffic flow and reduce safety risks on the day.
