Boyle Arts Festival Unveils Vibrant Programme for 2026

Boyle Arts Festival has announced its highly anticipated 2026 programme, promising ten days of exceptional arts and cultural experiences from 16th–25th July in the heart of County Roscommon.
Showcasing an eclectic mix of visual art, music, theatre, literature, comedy and family-friendly events, this year’s festival continues its tradition of bringing together audiences and artists for a truly immersive creative celebration.
Visual art remains at the core of the festival, with the annual Arts Trail transforming Boyle into an open-air gallery showcasing local and visiting artists, as well as the Open Submission art exhibition and the Main Exhibition in King House, curated by Paul McKenna.
The 2026 programme features an exciting lineup of music performances from acclaimed acts including Onóir, Mary Coughlan, The Swing Cats, NoCrows and 25 piece Sligo Baroque Orchestra, alongside a rich schedule of literature and comedy events. Highlights include Jason Byrne, An Evening with Michael Harding and the ever-popular “In Conversation” series, with Carole Coleman joined by broadcaster John Creedon for a special live discussion.
