Work continues on Boyle Energy Master Plan

Boyle Town Team is currently working to develop an Energy Master Plan for the town through the Sustainable Energy Community (SEC).

An SEC Energy Master Plan is a comprehensive report that measures how a local area uses energy and sets a clear roadmap to reduce energy waste, lower carbon emissions, and adopt renewable technologies.

Currently, businesses that have a light and heating bill (including any Gas usage for heating or cooking) over €10,000 annually, can avail of a free Energy Audit up to the value of €2,000 through the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). It is fantastic to see that many businesses in Boyle have already taken advantage of this offer.

If you are interested in doing so, but have not signed up for it as yet, please contact us on the email below and we may be able to assist you with getting it arranged.

As part of developing our Master Plan, we are also looking for businesses in the town centre or immediate environs that do not currently qualify for above as their light and heating bill is under €10,000 annually. If you are one of those businesses and are interested in availing of one of a limited number of no obligation, free Energy Audits for your premises, please do contact us via email on [email protected] before September 2nd 2026 for further information.

For domestic houses, we will also be providing some free Energy Audits for interested homeowners.

Further details on this at a future date.
