There are a number of attractions around the county this Easter weekend.
In Ballaghaderreen, the Roscommon County Fleadh Cheoil will take place from Friday to Monday inclusive.
The opening night Fleadh Ceili in Durkins from 8pm – 11pm will feature Salamaca.
On Saturday and Sunday there will be open air music on the Square from 4pm – 7pm with the official opening on Saturday at 5pm.
Bank Holiday Monday is competition day will events starting at 9.30am
There are many other fringe events taking place in the town throughout the weekend.
In Roscommon, the annual easter Parade gets underway from Abbeytown at 1pm
In Strokestown the 21st annual Easter Parade commences at 3pm.
Boyle’s Lough Key will host the annual Pike Angling Festival on Saturday and Sunday (see event section).
‘Breakout for Hospice’ takes place in Castlerea on Saturday featuring 70k/120k sportive cycles, family cycle, football match and social night.
