Boyle Celtic would like to thank most sincerely, the following people, who contributed with their help and support to make last Saturday’s annual fundraiser cycle to Croagh Patrick another roaring success. The weather was perfect and arguably the best day of the “summer”.
Sandra McCrann and Therese O Daly who provided 5 star catering for the riders. John Moran who collected the bikes in Croagh Patrick and returned them safely to Boyle. Enda Madden, Kevin Hickey and Donal Commons for transport and logistics help. Mickey Reid our patient, bus driver.
We especially thank Paula and Mickey Cull of Drumderrig Nursing Home for providing the bus to transport the riders home. Trevor Conroy and Padraig Langan of Boyle Scouts for the equipment and late night help on Friday. We thank Enda Moran of Trojan Complete IT also for his help on sponsor cards.
Brian Nerney and Boyletoday.com for his promotional help and support. The Curlieu Wheelers for their support and guidance along the way. There is no substitute for experience when bringing groups of cyclists on the open roads. And last but not least, those people who gave generously in sponsorship.
Thank you all.
