The following were â‚¬20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Doddâ€™s Bar;- Terry Garvin and Brian Supple, The house prize was won by Jonathan Dwyer, The jackpot was not won and it will stand at a new record of â‚¬10,800 for thisÂ SaturdayÂ nightâ€™s draw which will be held in Brunos. Team C will be in charge. Those wishing to be in with a chance of winning this large jackpot may avail of the opportunity by watching out for our new ticket box which is available in several shops in Boyle.
The Club has just launched its very attractiveÂ â€śNew Yorkâ€ť draw which has as its first prize a fantastic 5 day return trip for two to New York for the Roscommon v New York Connacht Championship game at the May bank holiday weekend. Other prizes include a 32â€ť Nordmende TV (sponsored by Joe Simon Home Garden and Build), a Samsung Galaxy Tab (sponsored by Trojan IT), and a weekend away break (sponsored by Kellyâ€™s Supervalu), Tickets are available from all Club members.
Thanks to Jan Flanagan for co-ordinating the very successful defibrillator training programme which was held in the ClubroomÂ on SaturdayÂ and attended by many Club officials and coaches.
The Club Registration Evening for all players (boys only) at U8,U10,U12,U14,U16 and U18 will be held in the Clubroom onÂ this ThursdayÂ evening from 7pm toÂ 9.30pm.ItÂ is essential that all who are in those age groups and who wish to play Gaelic football in Boyle, is registered. We especially welcome now players. Those who are registering for the first time must provide the long version of their birth certificate. Registration costs â‚¬40 for U8s and U10s and â‚¬50 for the other age categories.
The Clubs (Male Club and Ladies Club) extends its sympathy to the Brennan and Lannon and Scally families, Cashel, Boyle on the death of Jim Brennan, Cashel, and to Mrs Carmel Keenan and family,Carrickmore, Boyle on the passing of her sister Mrs Kitty Maloney.
