Boyle GAA weekly club news

David Kelly, Keith Conroy and Sylvia Grimes (donated to the Monty and Michelle Fund) were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Kate Lavins.

The jackpot wasn’t won. It will be at €2,200 for the next draw on Saturday June 10th which will be held in Wynne’s Bar, with Team six in charge.

The Cooney Motors/Centra sponsored juniors defeated St. Aidan’s in the Division 5 league last Saturday. Team: D. McGovern, C. McGee, B. Furey, D. Boylan, A. Sharkey, C. Goldrick, J. Cox, T. Halligan, R. Finneran, C. McPadden, C. Flanagan, B. Kerins, K. Kelly, P. Lavin, S. Mullins and S. Spellman.

Their next game is against St. Michael’s in the Division 5 league on June 10th in the Abbey Park at 7pm.

Minor Fixtures: The U-12 division 5 team play Clann na nGael in a league play-off on Sunday June 11th in the Abbey Park at 12noon.

The U-12 division team are scheduled to play in a league knockout next weekend. Please check Roscommon Herald sports section for further details.

The Roscommon GAA social initiative are having their annual outing on Saturday, June 17th to Croke Park and Guinness Brewery. All in cost of €50 which includes Tea/Scones and Dinner. Coach leaves at 7:30am. For further information please contact Sean Mannion on 0868388756.

U12 girls quarter final Sunday 11th June.  Details tbc.

U14s play their last league match against Western Gaels in Frenchpark on Wednesday at 7pm.

Congratulations are extended to Roscommon U16 Ladies who are through to the All Ireland B semi-final v’s Kildare. Well done to club players Saoirse Wynne;  Megan McKeon and Kate Harrington.
