Also we offer congratulations to Jason Beirne who came 2nd in his first 18 hole competition in the club with a very strong 43 points. One to watch..

FIXTURES – Next Sunday’s competition for the men is the Bart Moran cup, played as an 18 hole strokeplay. The competition for the June Bank Holiday weekend is a fundraiser for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, the “Crumlin Classic”, played as a team event. The 9th of June sees the men play in one of the 2 “big ones”, the Presidents Prize. You need to have played one “qualifying “ competition in Boyle Golf Club this year to be eligible to claim 1st place in the Presidents Prize.
The mens’ weekly continues as usual this Thursday as a 12 hole stableford.

INTERCLUBS – Well done to the team captained by Sean Heslin in the Pierce Purcell Shield in scoring a comprehensive victory over Strandhill Golf Club. Boyle take on the winners of Ballaghaderreen versus County Sligo Golf Club in the next round.
Good luck also to Charlie O’Donnell’s and Tish Perry’s team in their second round Mixed Foursomes match against Co Sligo Golf Club.
