Groups benefit from Lough Key Classic

A number of groups have benefited from the annual Lough Key Classic cycling sportive held in May this year.

They include: SHOUT (Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust), St. Vincent de Paul, Brothers of Charity and Boyle Scouts.

The presentations were made to the nominated groups by members of Curlieu Wheelers Cycling Club in Boyle recently.

Boyletoday.com photograph shows Curlieu Wheelers Chairman Declan Noone presenting a cheque to Barry Toolan (Brothers of Charity) while Padraig Casey presents a cheque to Ger Daly (SHOUT).

The Lough Key Classic has become a firm favourite on the Irish cycling calendar and this year’s event attracted 180 riders from all over Ireland.
