Charity cyclists arrive in Boyle

12 cyclists arrived in Boyle this evening for an overnight stop as they complete the Mizen to Malin Head fundraising cycle.

They were accompanied by a members of the local Curlieu Wheelers cycling club who met the group in Castlerea and

rode the journey to Boyle with them.

The group left Gort in Co. Galway this morning and will head to Donegal town tomorrow.

The fundraisers are cycling from Mizen to Malin Head for CONSOLE (suicide awareness and support), PHAB Omagh and a Scottish Cancer Care Charity.

The group are a combined group undertaking the cycle to support each other on the route in raising much needed funds for their various charities.

They have a support crew of 2.

A  fundraising quiz night was held recently in Dodd’s, the Crescent Boyle to support the CONSOLE side of this in memory of Ciara Pugsley. Her Dad, Jonathan is on the cycle.

The cyclists will overnight in Boyle before departing on their journey on Wednesday morning.
