With just 20 days left to Christmas, preparations for the festive season are in full swing at Drumanilra Farm Kitchen.
The farm shop stocks organic Bronze Turkeys and Dry Cure Hams from Drumanilra Organic Farm and organic Geese from Barlow’s Organic Farm in Castlrea.
For the first time, the Farm Kitchen have been making their own Christmas cakes, mince pies, Christmas puddings, cranberry sauce and much more, all by hand and all with organic fruit, flour and eggs.
They will also be stocking a great range of artisan cheeses, quince and fig pastes, gourmet chocolates, panettone and organic smoked salmon from artisan food producers around the country.
Drumanilra Events
On December 13th, Santa will be dropping into the Drumanilra Christmas Family Morning at the cafe from 10.30am to 12.
He will be back again on December 16th for the Drumanilra Christmas Fair.
At the Christmas Fair, there will be farm animals in the garden, a Christmas treasure hunt, gift hamper wrapping, gingerbread decorating, visit with Santa, Christmas crafts and much more.
Finally, there is great interest in the Christmas Supper Nights featuring a 4 course Christmas menu with ingredients from Drumanilra Organic Farm.
