Cookery demo a huge success
Up to 50 appreciative members of the public attended Thursday night’s Cookery demonstration by “The Pampered Chef” Pauline Beadle in Tawnytaskin Community Centre.
Pauline entertained the audience with her vegetable and rice pilaf, turkey and cranberry ring, black forest trifle and miniature mince pies.
The Community Centre committee also provided Christmas cake and tea and coffee for those who attended.
Following the cookery demonstration, local lady Angela East gave a lesson in flower arranging showing how to make a table centre piece, spray and Christmas wreath.
The hardworking committee of Tawnytaskin Community Centre will now take a well earned break for the festive season but will be back in the New Year with some exciting events.
