For the first time since merging, Sligo Credit Union is pleased to announce that applications for its Community Fund are now open to all areas within its Common Bond, including Boyle and Keadue.
The fund provides financial support to local clubs, groups, organisations, and societies, helping them continue the vital work they do within the community. Applications are reviewed three times a year, and the deadline for the second round is the 16th of May, 2025.
So far this year, €10,000 has been awarded to 10 community groups, including Medbs Dragon Warriors, the Sligo Stoma Support Group, and the Wild Atlantic Shanty Festival. These grants are already making a difference – strengthening community connections, promoting inclusion, and supporting local culture.
The Sligo Credit Union Community Fund is a great opportunity for groups to secure much-needed funding and continue making a positive impact in their local areas.
