Earley to become GPA Chief Executive

38 year old former Kildare player Dermot Earley Junior will soon take up the position of Chief Executive of the Gaelic Players Association (GPA)

Dermot is son of the legendary Roscommon great and Michael Glavey’s clubman Dermot Earley who died in 2010

Dermot Junior, who like his late father, is a member of the Irish Army, will take leave of absence from the Defence Forces before assuming his new role in February.

He will take over the role from former Dublin footballer Dessie Farrell.
