Full rail service on Dublin Sligo line

A full rail service will operate today on the Dublin Sligo line which services Boyle and on all other Irish Rail routes after the planned work stoppage was called off by rail unions.

Dramatic last minute talks which concluded at 4.15am this morning  following 18 hours of tense discussions between SIPTU, NBRU and rail management has seen industrial action suspended.

But union bosses say there may still be some delays to services as train drivers arrive for work.
