Gardaí are investigating if an attempted break in at a Boyle Filling Station on Tuesday morning is connected with a break in at a Filling Station in Tulsk on the same night.
Gardaí were called to Mc Donagh’s Topaz on Shop Street around 1.35am following an alarm activation.
The roof of the premises had been interfered with and a hole cut in a sheet of metal to gain entry.
Nothing was taken in the Boyle raid.
On the same night in Tulsk, slates were removed from a Filling Station’s roof in the village and entry gained where a cigarette machine was interfered with.
