Despite the heavy rain on Saturday evening, the ground held firm and the day stayed dry and warm for the annual Boyle Summer Show on Sunday.
In what lived up to its billing as a great family day out, adults and children enjoyed the horse jumping, stalls, bouncy castles, dog shows and various fringe events.
The All Ireland Champion Spaniel competition saw competitors travel from all over the country for the event with Iarla Walsh’s dog from Renvyle, Connemara being crowned the overall champion.
