The inaugural Lough Key Legends Half Marathon and 10k run event has been launched.
Taking place on Sunday May 10th, the event promises to be an unforgettable trail running experience at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park.
Choose from a 10km or Half Marathon route that winds through serene woodland paths, lakeside trails, and the park’s iconic natural scenery — with only a very small road section.
This is a fully chipped timed event, and every runner receives an official T-shirt, finisher medal, race bag, and free parking. A portion of proceeds supports our chosen charity for 2026 – The North West Hospice, so your run makes a difference too.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just want a truly scenic running experience, this event is designed to challenge and inspire.
Entry is €60 per adult (Half Marathon) and €40 (10k).
Participants must be 16 years of age and older on race day.
