Frenchpark man Jack Brennan is being honoured as the Roscommon 2015 Carer of the Year.
Jack has careed for his wife for the last fifteen years and is well known in Boyle where members of his family live.
Throughout Ireland, Family Carers dedicate themselves to providing remarkable levels of care in the home to their loved ones.
Once a year they get the acknowledgement they deserve through the Carers of the Year Awards.
One local Carer of the Year is chosen from each county.
The National Carer of the Year will be chosen from the Local Award Recipients.
