The death has occurred of Margaret Meehan (née Smith), Ballydoogan, Sligo and formerly of Boyle, Co. Roscommon and Drumdeerig Nursing Home.
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the great care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, her parents James and Frances Smith, siblings Maureen, Jerry, Elizabeth, Belinda, Tom, Michael, Jim, John-Joe and George.
Dear mother of Frances, Agnes Logue, Bernadette McLoughlin and Regina.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, beloved brother Austin, grandchildren Shane, Caoimhe, Mark, Darragh, Eoin, Ciaran, Cathal, Aisling, Shona, Michael, Steven and Vanessa, sons-in-law Anthony, John and Peter, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo on Friday 20th February from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Funeral will arrive at The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Saturday 21st February at 12:00pm for Requiem Mass, with funeral proceeding to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden for burial after.
