The death has occurred of Dorothy Elizabeth Gillespie (née Cuffe), Mount Prospect, Knockvicar, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, July 29th 2023.
Peacefully, surrounded by her devoted husband and family and in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle.
Pre-deceased by her beloved son Andrew Ernest, sister-in-law Nuala, brother-in-law Jim.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her loving husband David, sons Hugh, Miles and Ian, daughters Vida and Fiona and their partners Wendy, Carol, Wendy, Craig, Rob and Margaret, brothers Neville, Wesley and Orville, sister-in-law Pauline, grandchildren Luke, Dan, Katie, Simon, David, Laura, Robert, Craig, Matthew, Joseph, Anna and Vida, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Safe in the arms of Jesus
Dorothy will repose at St. Beide’s Church, Ardcarne, F52 RR97 on Sunday evening (July 30th) from 6 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday (July 31st) at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
