Following intermittent closures since early December, Irish Rail have announced Monday that the Dublin Sligo rail line has reopened fully.
Bus transfers were in operation between Carrick on Shannon and Longford with some services operating a full bus service from Sligo to Dublin and others cancelled.
Water levels that necessitated the closure have now receeded and full services have resumed
