Lough Key in ‘Outdoor Adventures’

Boyle’s Lough Key Forest Park was listed this week as one of ’16 Summer Outdoor Adventures for Families’.

Writing on irishtimes.com, Sandra O’Connell said:

This is hands down the best day out for pre-teens, mainly because of the Boda Borg, a series of fiendishly fun quest-type challenges. Once you’ve had your fill of that, you can get your fill of fresh air, whizzing through the trees on high wires and zip lines, or riding on Segways, kids Jeep safaris, or bicycles. You could also enjoy the park on foot, of course, you killjoy.

Other locations listed included Waterford Greenway, Portumna National Park, Ballycroy National Park, Sea Synergy Awareness Centre, Carlingford Activity Centre, We Are Vertigo, Skywalkers, Castlecomer Discovery Park, Baysports, Dublin City Farm, Bird of Prey Centre, Airfield Estate, Dunfanaghy Stables, Burren National Sanctuary and Fungie the Dolphin.
