New ‘one ticket’ for rail and coach travel to Dublin Airport

Rail passengers from Boyle and other stations along the Sligo/Dublin rail line can now get to
Dublin Airport easier than ever thanks to a new partnership between Iarnród Éireann and Aircoach.
Passengers can now book their train and airport coach ticket together, with the add on starting from just €6.
When booking on irishrail.ie, customers can now add an Aircoach connection for a convenient and affordable airport transfer.
Passengers travelling on routes from Sligo to Drumcondra or Rosslare to Pearse can add a coach transfer for just €6 single or €8 return. Coaches depart directly outside both stations. Routes 700 and 700X serve Drumcondra with a journey time of around 20 minutes, while route 702 runs from Pearse up to 20 times daily, with a typical journey time of 20–25 minutes. Return tickets are valid for one month and can be used on any Aircoach service on the same route.
As Sorcha NicEoin, Head of Commercial B2B at DAA, puts it: “We want it to be really easy for passengers to get to and from Dublin Airport — and the more options they have, the better. Around 1 in 3 passengers already use public transport, and initiatives like this will only improve that.”
