A new CEO for Roscommon Mayo Hospice has been announced.
Martina Jennings from Hollymount, Co. Mayo will take over the post from Cynthia Clampett who is due to retire in the next few months.
Martina brings a vast level of experience to Hospice having worked in the corporate world for the last 20 plus years, both in sales and senior management.
For the last 4 years she has been Head of Commercial Sales Miele Ireland, prior to this she was Account Director with O2 Ireland for a number of years, managing their Top Tier accounts.
Ms Jennings founded and chaired CF West an organisation set up to build a State of the Art clinic for Cystic Fibrosis patients in the West of Ireland.
Cynthia Clampett who is due to retire joined the foundation in 1994 as a volunteer fundraiser with the Roscommon Town Hospice Support Group.
During her time with the group she served as PRO, Secretary, Treasurer and Chairperson.
In November 1998 she was appointed Administrator/Fundraiser based at the Hospice Central Office in Knock and has been the face of the foundation since then.
