Quirky train to travel past Boyle

Eagle eyed motorists on the N4 outside Boyle may see something unusual pass this way early Monday morning.

The latest addition to David McGowan’s Quirky Nights Glamping Village in Enniscrone – three train carriages – will leave Dublin Port at 11pm Sunday night bound for the Sligo seaside town.

The journey along the N4 and the N59 via Ballisodare should take approximately seven hours.

At that rate, the convoy should pass on the N4 Curlew by pass at approx 4- 5am.

The carriages will join the Boeing 767 aeroplane and a host of London taxis at the proposed glamping centre in the village.
