A Status Yellow snow/ice warning comes into place for this area at 06.00 on Sunday January 31st and remains in place until 18.00.
Met Éireann are warning of “Wintry falls of snow with some accumulations possible”.
The warning is for all of Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath and Meath.
Forecast: A cold day tomorrow with rain, sleet and snow. Some accumulations of snow are likely over northern parts of Connacht. Later in the day the precipitation will be mostly of rain. Highest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty easterly winds.
