Tommy Devine wins Pasture Progress Award 2025

The winner of the Pasture Progress Award 2025 is Tommie Devine from Frenchpark.

The Grass10 team presented the Pasture Progress Awards on Wednesday 8th of April at Teagasc, Ballyhaise College, County Cavan.

The Pasture Progress Awards recognises progress in grazing management by farmers across the country.

These farmers are growing and utilising more pasture on their farms, contributing to sustainable livestock production systems. This progress was assessed using Pasture Base Ireland. The awards are supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine with an overall prize fund of €40,000.

The Pasture Progress Awards are part of the Teagasc Grass10 Campaign which is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Teagasc, AIB, FBD, Grassland Agro and the Irish Farmers Journal.

The Connacht/Ulster Winner of Pasture Progress Awards is David Williamson, from Bailieboro, County Cavan who will represent Connacht/Ulster and compete with other regional winners to become the overall winner of the Pasture Progress Awards.
