97 residential sales in Boyle in 2018

There were 97 residential property sales conducted in the general Boyle area in 2018 according to figures from the Property Price Register.

The highest price paid was €387,000 for a ‘second hand dwelling house/apartment’ in Cloongownagh, Boyle Road, Carrick on Shannon closely followed by €355,000 for what is termed “a second hand dwelling house/apartment’ in Finnor, Croghan, Boyle.

The lowest price recorded for a residential property sale in the area was €10,000 for a ‘second hand dwelling house/apartment’ at Powell’s Hill in Cootehall and the same price for another ‘second hand dwelling house/apartment’ at Derryherk, Knockvicar.

The next lowest for ‘second hand dwelling house/apartment’ was €15,000 on Termon Road, Boyle followed by €21,000 at Chapel Street in Boyle, €22,500 at Grangebeg and €25,000 on St. Patrick Street in Boyle.

The term ‘second hand dwelling house/apartment’ is used to describe most sales on the Register which could also include land along with a house(s).

The Residential Property Price Register is produced by the Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) pursuant to section 86 of the Property Services (Regulation) Act 2011. It includes Date of Sale, Price and Address of all residential properties purchased in Ireland as declared to the Revenue Commissioners for stamp duty purposes.
