This week four Boyle cyclists will depart for L’Etape du Tour , which covers the 138k 19th stage of the Tour de France, a few days before the professionals.
Jacqueline O Connor, Enda Madden, Gavin Brennan and Eddie Conroy will participate in the event next Sunday 19th July.
The stage includes 5,000m of climbing covering 4 categorised climbs.
All in Boyle send the Curlieu Wheelers members the best of luck and safe cycling.
Unfortunately club member Seanie Brennan who was due to travel to France had to cancel his plans at the last minute.
Back home, club cycles take place on Tuesday and Thursday departing the Crescent at 7pm.
