Strandhill drowning victims Mass

Eastern Harps GAA club are organising  a remembrance Mass on Saturday  for three local youths who were drowned in Strandhill twenty years ago.

Bobby Taylor (16), Tommy Coyle (18) and Michael Higgins (17) were part of a group who went to Strandhill on a sunny Sunday May 17th 1998.

The three Leaving cert students were playing in shallow water with a football when they were pulled out to sea by a strong under current.

The Remembrance Mass will be celebrated in Gurteen Chaurch on Saturday evening at 6pm
