Nordson Medical raise €110,266 for Sunflower Children’s Hospice

Boyle based company Nordson Medical has expressed its sincere gratitude to employees, local businesses, suppliers and the wider community following the successful conclusion of its Summer Fundraising Raffle in support of the Sunflower Children’s Hospice Project.

The fundraising campaign, which brought together more than 170 employees at Nordson Medical’s Boyle facility, was launched to support the development of the Sunflower Children’s Hospice in Castlebar. The facility will become the first dedicated children’s hospice west of the Shannon, providing specialist care, comfort, and respite services for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The campaign culminated during Nordson Medical’s annual Team Day, where raffle winners were drawn and the fundraising total was revealed.

The final amount raised: €110,266

This year’s fundraiser builds on the strong support already shown by the local community for the Sunflower Children’s Hospice project and reflects the commitment of Nordson Medical employees to making a meaningful difference for families across the region.
