The official launch of this year’s Boyle Horse and Summer show took place on Friday August 5th in Boyle Enterprise Centre on Quarrylane.
Aileen Madden welcomed the school competition winners Anna Mc Grath (Grange NS) and Brona Mulrennan (Scoil na nAingeal Naofa, Boyle) who designed the catalogue cover and Liam Mc Keon (Abbey CC) who designed the poster.
Anna and Liam were presented with awards. Brona was unfortunately absent.
This year’s show will be packed full with entertainment for all family members.
There will be several new categories and classes including Horse showing, Junk Couture, Pixie, Fairy and Elf fancy dress as well as many of our usual competitions in Horse Jumping, Dog show, Horticulture, Baking and Arts/Crafts.
The Show will take place on GAA training grounds in Abbeytown on August 21st.
