The death has occurred of Pat Ballantyne, Ballinafad, Co. Sligo, August 31st 2026, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital, following a short illness.
Pre-deceased by his brother Lorcan.
Pat will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Mary, daughters Theresa and Breda, sons Sean and Declan, sons-n-law Rob and Kevin, daughters-in-law Bernie and Fionnuala, grandchildren Liam, Robert, Patrick, Darragh, Niamh, Aoife, Eoghan, Mai and Cole, brothers Tommy and John, sisters Kathleen, Martha and Breda, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and extended family.

Reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote, on Tuesday evening from 5p.m. until 8.30 with a half hour break from 6.30p.m until 7p.m. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinafad, arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 11.30a.m. Interment afterwards in Aughannagh Cemetery.
