Autumn launch for Boyle 2040 plan

It is proposed to launch the Boyle 2040 plan in autumn this year.

The plan, which is still being finalised, will provide a road map for the future of Boyle with particular emphasis on the Main Street, St Patrick Street and Bridge Street areas of the town.

It will also provide direction on the future use of the former Royal Hotel building and the proposed Greenway link between Boyle and Lough Key Forest and Activity Park.

The Boyle 2040 plan is a joint initiative between the Boyle Town Team and Roscommon County Council.

Town Team Chairman Brian Nerney said ” Boyle 2040 is a comprehensive plan for Boyle’s future and seeks to direct development and investment by the private and public sectors in the future of Boyle.“

“The Team are very excited at what is contained in Boyle 2040 and look forward to it’s official launch to the public later this year”, concluded Brian.
