CAMOGIE
Well done to our U12 girls who had a great win against Roscommon Gaels last week, this group also had a brilliant day out during the week in Pearse Stadium at Caman to Connacht.
Well done to our U16 girls on their recent win against Oran/Athleague and our U14 girls also had a great win over Tulsk during the week. Both of our U12 teams will take on Carrick on Shannon on the 9th of July in the Abbey Park with the games starting at 7pm.
Boyle Camogie Club celebrates our 10th Anniversary this year and we would be delighted to welcome all new members to our club.
LGFA
The club would like to wish the very best of luck to the Roscommon Minor Ladies who will take on Down in the All Ireland Semi Final on Thursday the 8th of July and a special mention for our own club players Gemma Moran, Grainne Sweeney and Holly Fitzhenry. Everyone at Boyle GAA & LGFA is behind you all the way!
The U14 girls will begin their Championship campaign against St Dominic’s on the 12th of July at 11am in the Abbey Park
UNDERAGE FOOTBALL
The U14 Division 4 boys will play Western Gaels on the 7th of July at 7pm in the Abbey Park. Our minors will be up against Strokestown on the 8th of July at 8pm in the Abbey Park and finally our U14 Division 1 boys will take on Clann na nGael in the College Field in Boyle on the 9th of July at 7.30pm.
Our U15 boys will play Shannon Gaels in the final of the Garda Cup which will be held in the Abbey Park on the 12th of July time to be confirmed.
The U16 boys will take on Padraig Pearses on the 6th of July in the Abbey Park at 7.30pm.
SENIOR FOOTBALL
Massive congratulations to our McGovern Civils sponsored Senior Men who were crowned O’Rourke Cup Division 1 League Champions after a very entertaining game against St Brigid’s in the Abbey Park on Sunday with a final scoreline of 2-16 to 2-07.
A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped out on the day of the final , we couldn’t be prouder of our team and the support from the local community.
