50/50 Draw

Last Friday’s winner of the Boyle Celtic 50/50 draw were Joanne and Margaret from Cork, who won €1710. Congratulations folks, and happy spending! Tickets are on sale now for next Friday’s draw from all the usual outlets and online.

Results

Our under 17 boys defeated Calry Bohs.

Our under 12 girls defeated Dromahair.

Our Under 15 boys drew with Coolaney United.

Our under 13 boys defeated Valley Rovers.

Our under 16 girls were defeated by St. John’s.

Well done to our under 11 Boys who put in a terrific display against St John’s on Saturday evening in Celtic Park in what was a great evening for football.

Our Downes Construction sponsored women’s team drew 1-1 with Castlerea Celtic in the RDFL Women’s League. Sinead O’Donohoe scored the Boyle Celtic goal.

Our Roberto’s Takeaway/GreenRock Convenience Store ponsored men’s reserves team returned to league action in style on Sunday morning. Two goals each from Isaak Said and Alfonso Barrios and a Darragh Hensey penalty ensured all three points over a resolute Lough Harps.Next up for the lads is a trip to Rahara Rovers on Sunday, March 15th. Darts Night

Anticipation continues ahead of Boyle Celtic’s Darts Night. Players will be introduced on our own and the Darts Night’s dedicated Facebook and Instagram pages over the next two weeks so go check them out! We had a fantastic evening in Daly’s as we build up to the big night on March 28th! A big well done to Waylon for organising a great event, and congratulations to Eoghan on taking the win! The excitement is definitely building — roll on March 28th! Limited tickets remain on sale.

Congratulations

Congrats to former player Conor Tivnan, who has led Galway’s Coláiste Bhaile Chláir (Claregalway) to the All-Ireland cup final. They defeated St. Columba’s of Stranorlar in Gurteen on Tuesday last.

A massive well done also to former youth’s player Adam Simon, who along with Barry Potter from Frenchpark ran 160 kilometres\ 100 miles in 24 hours for Pieta. Best wishes to men’s first team player Dean Casey and his St. Nathy’s teammates in this weekend’s All-Ireland Post-Primary School’s final. Dean scored 8 points in the semi-final victory a fortnight ago.
