Boyle FRC receives €4,500 from Integration Fund

Boyle Family Resource Centre was among a number of community projects nationwide who were awarded funding last week under the Community Integration Fund.

The Fund has made a total of €566,492.60 available to support 124 local community-based organisations across Ireland to play a greater role in welcoming and integrating migrants and refugees.

The Communities Integration Fund has been in place since 2017 and arises from Action 51 of the Migrant Integration Strategy, which calls for funding to be made available to local communities throughout Ireland to promote the integration of migrants and refugees.

Local TD and Minister of State Frank Feighan has welcomed funding for a number of organisations in the Sligo/Leitrim and North Roscommon areas including Boyle FRC

Minister Feighan congratulated the successful applicants and commended them for their good work in promoting integration in their community.

Meanwhile, Boyle Family Resource Centre has announced details of their July Kids Activity Camps for children aged 5-10 years.

The cost is €5 per child per week.
Activities include:
📌Week 1: Music Generation – 2 spaces available
📌Week 2: BAZZ Art – (spaces now available from 2.30 to 4.00p.m. On July 12th)
📌Week 3: Martial Arts – FULLY BOOKED
📌Week 4: Puppetry and Theatre – FULLY BOOKED
