RESULTS – The Crumlin Classic fundraiser was ongoing at the time of writing, results to follow next week.
The 12 hole competition played on Thursday the 23rd of May was won by Vincent Egan with a great score of 30 points,Conor Hamill was the runner up with 27 and Michael Rush came third with 24.
The prize winners in the Thursday competition played on the 30 th of May were Tommy King, Vincent Egan and Paul Connolly in that order.
INTERCLUBS – Well done to Sean Heslin’s Pierce Purcell team who had a great 4-1 victory over County Sligo Golf Club to make it into a zone final against Ballina Golf Club.
FIXTURES – Next Sunday the 9th of June sees action in Sean Heslin’s Presidents Prize. The format is , as always, an 18 hole stroke play with the highest scorers called back to a 9 hole play off that evening, with the presentation to the prize winners immediately afterwards.
