KING HARMON QUALIFIERS – The third and final qualifier competition for the matchplay rounds of the King Harmon Cup took place on Sunday the 20th of October. Conditions were very good overhead again this week, but wetter underfoot this week, proving tricky even with the benefit of placing, so the scores this week were not quite as high as last week’s. Tommy King was this weeks winner with 38 points, just eclipsing Tom Kearney on countback. Lorcan Egan took the gross – he had 36 points as did Michael McHale who came 3rd.
The 4 quarter final match-ups are as follows – Lorcan Egan vs Gerry Carty, Padraic O’Connell vs David Wynne, Liam Mullaney vs Michael McHale, and Sean Heslin vs Brendan Gaffney.
