Well done to Spring League winners Charlie O’Donnell, Joey Mullaney & Pat Conroy who finished with a score of 121. Liam Mullaney, Susan Gaffney & Jimmy Dwyer came in second pushing Brendan Gaffney, Maura O’Farrell and Michael Rush into third place. Daily Prize winners were Willie Tiernan, Aisling Gaughran & Sean McLoughlin, Ross Andrew, Sandra McCrann & Paddy Nangle and Terry Canning, Joyce Boles & Michael Gilmartin (three drives in after four holes). At the presentation Vice Captain & Competition Secretary Michael Rush thanked everyone for taking part and congratulated the winners. Charlie O’Donnell spoke for the winners, as his partners Pat & Joey were suffering from backache and had to remain seated. He thanked Michael Rush for organising the competition and thanked his partners saying they were delighted to win.
Last weeks nine hole was won by Sean Heslin 23pts, 2nd Michael Rush 23pts. This weeks nine hole can be played from Monday to Saturday.
Next Sunday is the second of the golfer of the year competitions. Format is 18 hole stableford. Ross Andrew is currently in first place and following an interview with him on Sunday evening, is confident of holding the top spot.
The draw for the foursomes competition took place last Sunday with details on the noticeboard.

A club outing will take place to Loughrea on Saturday April 12th. Cost will be €30 per person including breakfast roll and meal afterwards. First tee off 11.30. Please check noticeboard for details.
The second round of the Spring Royals will take place in Boyle on Saturday April 5th.
Date for your diary is the Ladies “Pampered Chef” food event with Pauline Beadle on March 27th in the clubhouse. Tickets €5 available from committee members. All support appreciated.
