Boyle’s Lough Key Forest and Activity Park Visitor Centre is the location today Wednesday for the launch of Roscommon Dementia Alliance’s new website – www.roscommondementia.ie
Roscommon Dementia Alliance was established to improve the quality of life and affect change in policy for people living with Dementia, their families and carers by enabling their active participation in society through the provision of support, information, advice and education in an inclusive community environment.
The Alliance has representation from Community Activists and the following groups:
- Brothers of Charity Services Ireland- West Region
- Keadue Social Services
- Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland
- Roscommon Older People’s Network
- South Connacht Citizens Information Service
- Roscommon LEADER Partnership
At the launch on Wednesday, the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland’s mobile information service will be in attendance.
