Boyle Horse and Summer Show takes place this Sunday August 23rd.
It will be held on Bellspark on Green Street in the town beside Green Street Veterinary Clinic.
The show grounds open at 9am and the day will commence with horse jumping at 9.30am.
There are numerous art, baking and craft competitions in addition to dog show, bonny baby, glamorous grant/granddad, little miss/ master and photography competitions.
A new category this year is the Junk Couture Competition sponsored by Barna Recycling.
Entries must be registered by Friday 21st August, late entries cannot be accepted. Please register by email [email protected]
Entries for horticulture, art, photography, cookery, home produce etc can be dropped off between 9am and 12 noon at the marquee in the show ground field on the day.
Booklets are available from Una Bhán and at various outlets throughout the town. Don’t forget to fill in application form – available with the booklet.
Special guests at this years Summer Show are the Formula 1 in schools All-Ireland winners 2015 Team Verus Racing.
Team members Gerard, Niall and Eoin are off to represent Ireland at the F1 in Shools World Finals in Sentosa, Singapore from 13th -16th September next.
