Congratulations to Boyle woman Michelle Lannon who won bronze at the World Masters Indoors Championships in Torun, Poland recently.
Michelle, who runs under the colours of Carrick A.C. took bronze in the W50 300m in a time of 10.52.09
Michelle’s time was only one second behind Italy’s Cinzia Zugnoni who finished second.
Australia’s Lucy Di Benedetto won the race in a time of 10.46.89.
The largest ever Irish Masters team travelled to the Championships. 135 Irish athletes competed during the week – ranging in age from 35 to 84.
